Leesa Smith October 16, Winnie has been left with no choice but to pull her boy out of the centre after feeling let down by the staff and the authorities. But once the now five-year-old boy moved from the Montessori preschool to a government-run centre at the start of this year — almost immediately there were issues which continued to escalate over the next six months.

However, this was far from the end of the problems with Sam — there were at least three biting and six head injury incidents. They even referred him to an OT for his behaviour, which we had never previously had a problem with. Sam was reprimanded after sam but him because he was trying to play with the kids when Sam was treating him as an outcast.
I told her I completely disagreed and if Ned was touching a girl I would definitely hear about it. The conversation ended with her telling me, they all bully each other. I left extremely angry and upset that I was being ignored. Winnie was an emotional wreck for the following month — fearful of what could possibly happen to her little boy next. But not in her worst nightmare could she have predicted what her innocent young son would reveal. He went on to say it was behind shed and Sam had told him it would be a fun game.
Ned told me wasn't fun and Sam always tries to pull his pants down. It felt like I failed as a parent as I have raised him to be friendly and include people," she says. I felt that I had done more than enough to protect Ned in his five years of of life - then to have it all ruined and his childhood taken by the teachers who had him in their care and didn't take him seriously OR listen to me. Winnie is unsure what to do with Ned for the rest of the school year.
