The Kawasaki Ninja is powered by a cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine, which produces 39PS at 11,rpm and 27Nm at 10,rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The cc Kawasaki is equipped with 37mm telescopic front forks and a five-way adjustable gas-charged monoshock at the rear. Braking is managed by a mm petal disc up front and a mm petal disc at the rear, with ABS now as standard.
For , the more affordable Kawasaki Ninja for India remains unchanged on the design front. However, it does get new colour additions - Lime Green and Blue and new graphics too. The KRT edition though has been discontinued. The semi-digital instrument cluster has been retained as well. With the new price of Rs 2. That said, only the frame and the engine comes from Thailand now. The body panels, alloy wheels, tyres and brakes are now made in India.
It feels smooth, offers confidence-inspiring handling and a very dramatic exhaust note that is similar to much bigger bikes. Complementing the motor is a very capable chassis that feels just right regardless of whether you are in city traffic, touring or belting down the racetrack.
The introduction of ABS dor adds Rs 23, to the cost of the previous version, but for that, you also get stickier Metzeler Sportec M5 tyres. It has remained a go-to option for riders looking for a dedicated track tool owing to its ergonomics, suspension setup and handling characteristics. It offers a good balance between ride and handling as well. While brakes lack initial feel, they offer good bite. Another issue is vibrations around the rpm range, which TVS has reduced to a fair degree.
The Kawasaki Ninja hasn't garnered a lot of fame in India, owing to its price tag. But with the new pricing, the future looks a lot more promising for the Ninja It does come across as a very potent track tool with not so sharp ergonomics as the KTM. Making it a more approachable machine for riders to use it for their daily stints as well.
Plus at Rs 58, you get an extra cylinder over the RC and a reliable Japanese brand name. Power though is still not at par with the KTM. Nonetheless, a twin-cylinder at this price is pretty tempting. This bike just shines like a star in the top end, it did even defeated the two cc category monsters: DUKE and RC I use to ride this machine for my daily commute to institution, and some Sunday rides.
For a twin-cylinder, it's just smooth as butter, refined but then when you go past rpm, it starts to show its true character. It just puts its all nuts till remarkable 13, rpm redline! You get just more and more amount of confidence when you start to lean down. It's road presence is like a gem.
Anyone can recognise it by its powerful twin halogens which helps me overcome the dark roads. I say, overall, it does do Justice for its price. But just lacks in modern equipments like USD forks, Aluminium swingarm, full digital console.
That's on you what you choose, but for me, ninja is the most dominant cc supersport bike. Satisfactory suspensions setup. Great yet managable power and up to par brakes. The best part about this bike is its refinement level. My experience with the service of this bike though has been below average. Borderline rude behaviour from some people. When you go for night parties the sound of the akrapovic silencer makes all girls look at you and you gain an identity.
If you want to buy a sports bike get this. If you want a muscle bike get JAWA. Choose the best! Be the best! Abs tops. Total riding pleasure.
Great speeds. Excellent pick up. Beautiful looks. What a performance. Great buy. No comparisons, no choices, it is outrightly a winner, the best. Simply in love with it. Go for it with closed eyes. Drastic shift from riding a TVS Wego for 8 years to this bike and i must say this bike is very welcoming and very supportive. Also this bike has tons of power and an attention seeker. Great performance oriented bike.
Ideal for long tours. Not bad for daily commute also. Excellent performance good comfort. Bohaat Maja he is bike me or Accha chalta he bike maja aata he chalane ko very nice. I know it's a good bike but I'm rider end my fevret bike. With some localisation, ABS and a hefty price drop, does the Ninja now offer better value for money than before? Does a new sticker job and inherent qualities keep the Ninja relevant even today? New price revision makes it accessible, High revving motor makes it a fantastic track bike, Sweet exhaust note at high revs.
Dated instrument console, lacks features, Design feels dated, Lacks real-world performance compared to the competition. Other than the addition of new paint options, the motorcycle remains mechanically the same. Thank you! Your question has been submitted.
